Sam Beam began his racing career at the young age of nine. It was evident from the beginning that this kid was born to race! In a matter of only 13 years, Sam racked up over 20 national, state and track championships on every racetrack imaginable. He raced go carts, legend cars, modifieds and late models on dirt and asphalt tracks to road courses. Not only has Sam made an impact on the race track but perhaps one of his largest accomplishments has come off the track as curator of Memory Lane Motorsports and Historical Automotive Museum. The family owned business has led to participation in many community events and the raising of money for many charitable organizations. Sam has also worked with area churches and youth to use his racing experiences as a tool to bring together those who share in both his faith and love for speed. Sam is a “hands on” type of person and the integrity in which he conducts himself is evident, regardless of whether he is strapped in a 130-mph racecar or speaking at a community youth rally.
